hello sarah and wish you well,
just that this opening led to an open king. i will set this position up,
with whites last book move Re8. i will see if there are any programs that can
win or draw from this position with black. in this game gambit could not. but i
will try again several times, and with other programs also.
yes the smile is a feature of shredder 5, but only against one of the
tigers. shredder is very humble around the tigers.
you said the final position? you mean the position at move 16?
yes, i have reviewed the game. i watched shredders score during the
game--this was a very unusual game for me. i was not used to the
score climbing as it did against gambit tiger with this opening.
it seemed this loss was due to the king position at move 16.
but i will test.
