If you have the book options on default, and have less than (approx) 20,000
games, there is a GOOD chance this will happen.

As you see on the left of the book option screen, even at default, a white
opening has to win a certain % of it's games.  And black does too.  Therefore,
if you made a book, and the moves don't meet this criteria, it won't pick them.
Lower these % and leave it to 2 games / 1 win.  Also, I don't know where you got
the games, but there are a LOT of PGN's it doesn't like.

Anyway, I have made two books and 1 user book with no problems.  This is all I
can think of, that would make it not use the book.  Also make sure it's not on
tournament.
