I doubt he looked at the line in detail himself then, and probably based this on
other opinions. It IS a lost cause, and no you didn't misunderstand me. I think
Black has a tangible advantage all the way through. I dropped the line from my
repertoire because I couldn't find a single satisfactory line for White.
However, ask yourself this: does White have any real compensation for the
sacrificed pawn? What I see is White struggling like crazy just to stay above
water. White only enters this line if they _choose_, and there is no question
Black should enter this, but White?
