After some analysis, I must say I have some doubt now too, about Bxf2. 1st, I
admit that I forgot that the 50 move count is restartet as soon as white can
play BxN. Furthermore white can *delay* taking the d3 pawn and indeed start
hunting the knight right away as you say...:

Did we miss something?

Maybe it was one of these incomplete tbs problems, because 6-piece situations
are involved?
