Jorge, I don't think this is an easy draw for white... perhaps I'm missing something. I don't see how white are going to get their pawn back! Without getting the black pawn all the way to a2! I would consider playing a few more moves, because back have nothing to lose ... and at the same time white are (have been for a while) a hair-away from destruction. I tried several variations where white recovers the pawn, but wthin 12-15 moves (24-30 ply) white are lost.... Some time ago (around move 14.) Bob H noted that white have a week spot on the queen side (square b3). Well, he was correct ... not only that, but the entire queen side (white) went to hell ... the "simple" human evaluation seems to be correct. If only programs could do that! Imagine it took 20 moves (40 ply) to get where we are right now and perhaps another 10 moves (~20ply) to settle it ... for a total of 60 plys! What kind of computer would it take to do this in 10 minutes?! regards. hristo
