We always seemed to notice that CM was really funny about having stuff running when u installing it, first make sure NOTHING is running in the background, check by using Ctrl-Alt-Del and just leave explorer running BUT first b4 all this install latest ver of DirectX (ver 8) then install CLEAN for cm6k and it should run fine > > >Larry S.
