While analyzing a little bit in old tournament books I found the following game from 1930 olympiad in Hamburg: (Richter,K - Abramavicius,L [C11] Hamburg ol (Men) Hamburg, 1930 1.d4 d5 2.Nc3 Nf6 3.Bg5 e6 4.e4 dxe4 5.Nxe4 Be7 6.Bxf6 Bxf6 7.Nf3 Nd7 8.Bd3 0–0 9.Qe2 c5 10.0–0–0 cxd4 11.g4 g6 12.h4 Bg7 13.h5 Re8 14.hxg6 hxg6 15.g5 e5 16.Rh4 Nf8 17.Rdh1 Bf5 18.Qf1 Rc8 19.Rh8+ Bxh8 20.Rxh8+ Kxh8 21.Qh1+ Nh7 22.Nf6 Kg7 23.Qh6+ 1–0 The "hot" positon arises after move 18 of black where white played a double rock sacrifice!! r1bq1rk1/pp1n1ppp/4pb2/2p5/3PN3/3B1N2/PPP1QPPP/R3K2R w KQ c6 0 10 !9.Rxh8+ seems to be a very difficult move to find for any computer program. Any program to find 19. Rh8+ in a reasonable time?? Would be glad to hear any successes..... Greetings Peter
