Strength may not be important in long time control games, but at speed chess, it can be a significant factor. The games are played at a time control of 20 min. + 15 sec. increment per move, but this does not leave much time for the computer to do a deep search, so if you are not strong and your opponent is a super GM, then the chances of you winning is very very small. The GM is using the computer to check the moves for possible tactical blunders not to find out what the chess computer suggests is the best move. Regards, Laurence
