OK, but what happens is that the graphical version is not going to accept moves
in algebraic notation anymore.

So instead of forcing you to analyze the output of the text mode version and
program something around it, I can invest a day of work and write something
cleaner, so you receive well formatted moves and other informations from the
program, and that you can send in return well formatted commands for the
program.

In return I would ask you to make your driver available for free so anybody can
use the autoplayer feature (and maybe the SSDF too).

Does it sound acceptable for you?
