He visto en este forum algunos post sobre la participación de ChessTiger en el Torneo ..... que se jugará entre los días 22 de junio y 6 de julio en la República Argentina. Por ese motivo me contacté con el distribuidor oficial de Chess Base en mi país (ICCF GM Roberto Alvarez) , que amablemente me proporcionó la siguiente información: 1. Los organizadores del evento le solicitaron asesoramiento para la participación de algún programa de ajedrez en el Torneo. 2. El consultó con Chess Base y ellos sugirieron el Chess Tiger (personalmente yo creo que hubiese sido de mayor interés que jugara GambitTiger) 3. El programa correrá sobre un Pentium III 866 Mhz. con 256 Megas de RAM. 4. Se utilizará la interface de Chess Base y el Libro de aperturas de Torneo provisto por la empresa. 4. Se jugará el con el nuevo ritmo de FIDE (75 minutos para 40 juagadas y 15 m. + 30 seg). (a) 5. ChessTigger será operado por el ICCF GM Roberto Alvarez. Sus antecedentes en mi país son muy importante pues él introdujo en la Argentina ( y probablemente en Sudamérica) los primeros programas de ajedrez para PC an 1990. Además ha operado diversos programas en otros torneos jugados en Argentina. 6. ChessTigger no cobrará premio en dinero si gana el torneo o clasifica entre los primeros , pero si se llevará para sí el trofeo! :)). 7. Hasta el momento, según he averiguado, todos los jugadores han aceptado jugar contra el programa. Además se incluyó en el contrato que las partidas contra ChessTiger debían jugarse con "un alto espíritú deportivo"). Este punto se introdujo para evitar situaciones como la que ocurrieron en el Campeonato de Holanda, donde algunnos jugadores se negaron a jugar o abandonaron la partida en las primeras movidas. 8. Un punto interesante es que se jugará con el sistema de 3 pts for win y 1 for draw. (a) Un problema que se presenta es que en la interface de ChessTiger de Chess Base no existe posibilidad de set el ritmo de FIDE, por lo que se harán pruebas para establecer cuál set se adaptamejor a la competencia. Cualquier sugerencia de Cristophe o otra persona será bienvenida. En estos test games se les ofrecerá participar a los Masters que jugarán. Cuando es juegos se realicen trataré de conseguirlos y publicarlos aquí. Otro interrogante que existe es como registrar un log files completo (como por ejemplo se puede hacer con Wchess) , para poder luego publicar los análisis hechos por Chess Tigger durante el juego. Tambien será agradecida cualquier información o ayuda sobre el particular. Otras sugerencias son bienvenidas y si you tienen algunas preguntas trataré de contactar con la organización o con Alvarez para responderles. Another query that exists is as registering a log complete files ( for example like to Wchess), for be able to publish the analyses made by Chess Tigger during the game. It will also be thanked any information or help on the matter. Other suggestions are welcome, and if you has some questions I will try to contact with the organization or with Alvarez to respond you.
