Kb4. Some analysis have shown that the king still goes back to the kingside to stop black's kingside pawns. Also the move 2. Kb4 is generally on a defensive end throughout the game, it was only save by the move 7. a3!!, and do you believe now that the defense 2. Kb4 -> Kb5 is not effective? of course it gets the draw!! By not moving our king to the queenside, we save one or two moves on some lines, and I think it is black who is defending after the move 2. g4. Regards, Dinan
