I had to give the edge to Fritz 5 over rebel 9 because he is playing it
on P II hardware. I have not seen Mchess 7.1 suffer playings human at
faster time controls. I found that it eats up humans at almost any time
control on P II hardware. I have to agree about Junior 4.6. It has
played some awful games against humans at faster time controls. Even
when it runs on fast hardware. Junior 4.6 is a very strange program. In
that it understands well how computers play, but has trouble playing
humans from time to time.
