Hi Andreas,

I am to blame for Blikskottel. I am starting from scratch, for the pure fun of
it :). Obviously you can download the 0.4 release, but it's quite lame. The 0.5
"work in progress" is a little less lame (still fairly lame) and sometimes
appears on FICS as Skottel. Skottel's rating on FICS is only about 1700, but
then Blikskottel has only existed for just over a month :)

For those who are interested, Blikskottel is Afrikaans slang; translated it
would mean approximately rascal. The squirrel which digs up my wife's
strawberries often gets called a blikskottel. "Blikskottel" literally means
something like "tin plate", but I have no idea of the etymology.

Blikskottel has rudimentary WinBoard support as of v0.2; this will (hopefully)
become more sophisticated with time. With any luck, so will the playing strength
:)
