TWIC 344: http://www.chesscenter.com/twic/twic344.html GM Vs Computer Match on ICC Gustavo Fialho reports that there will be a GM vs computer At Standard Time Controls 60m + 30 Seconds Increment between a Computer Team (4 TOP ENGINES) VS 4 GMS 1. (Petr Kiriakov ELO FIDE 2546, ICC HANDLE - Petrovich 2. (Ruslan Sherbakov, ELO FIDE 2544,) ICC HANDLE - Ruslan The 3rd and 4th players are likely to be GM Popov and GM Volkov but they will confirm later. Each player will play 4 Games, one game against Each engine.. A Team round Robin. The Games are going to be played on 14th-17th June 2001. --------------------------------- Anyone know which programs? Also, any opinions on how this time control compares to 40/2? Just FYI, FIDE and USCF lump all games with time controls > game/25 into the same rating, so this time control would count for human ratings. Best Regards, Chris Carson
