Hi all, > I am curios what do you believe? Since you have done alot of testing of >programs, (and i have been to your site, very nice). Do you think they are Gm >Strength? I realize that technically they can never be Grandmasters , since Fide >will not give the title to a computer. An interesting idea. Perhaps ICCA or someone with some credibility should establish a VGM (Virtual Grandmaster) title, based on scoring FIDE-type norms against human opposition. Would be extremely good for the commercial types to put as a sticker on a box :) Also, why stop at VGM? Why not VM? VWGM (move announcements to be spoken in delightful feminine tones)... etc... I look forward to the day when my engine, Blikskottel, will be able to lose his current title of VP: "Virtual Patzer"! Regards Adam Oellermann
