The value for that INI setting in versions BEFORE CM8000 referred to 2^N bytes, and 2^20 = 1MB. A completely different setting was created for CM8000, that ONLY changes the MENTOR personality's hash table size, and it DOES use N = # of MB. So, once again, CM7000 is fixed at 1MB hash tables for ALL personalities. This is a well-known problem that has been posted here many times. jm
