If I consider that you get Nr.2 and Nr.3 (both tigers!) for half the money (99DM) than the price of Deep Fritz (199DM) in Germany it seems to be clear that for owners of single-prozessor-PCs the Tigers are a much better choice. If I take only the bottom line of money: Why not try Winboard and a lot of really strong engines (Crafty, Yace, Zchess, Comet, just to name a few of them!) you can download for no money at all. Just to enjoy playing chess nearly all winboard-engines will be totally sufficiant.... Regards! Peter
