Subject: Can a program see this fine human move?? ( 28.Rxc6! )

Author: Tanya Deborah

Date: 00:00:31 06/14/01

Hi,

This is an Advanced game with help of computers, that my brother play against
their friend... The program that they was using was Deep Fritz...

My brother played some moves within fritz help, and in the move 28 he decided to
sacrifice his rook and take the horse, and win the game! For the moment Fritz do
not consider to take the horse. Very strange.

The question is, Can Fritz see move 28.Txc6 like a winning move?? (or any other
program?) I mean Txc6 seems very strong! and a very human move for any
program...

Thanks in advance!

Regards,

Tanya Deborah.
