Go up one level in this thread

Take these 6,000 positions and find the ones you don't have
http://www.cs.cmu.edu/afs/cs/project/ai-repository/ai/areas/games/chess/test/0.html

this is the best set but the extension used in the files are .fin they work if
you cut and paste to fritz but there is no solution so you have to do what i had
to which is go through remove "/" in front of who is to play and - - 0 1
really really time consuming. Luckily some of these are already available in epd
but there are quite a few that i couldn't find anywhere else.

Shereshevsky's Endgame Strategy
Kotov Think Like a GM
Dvoretsky, Nimzo, etc

If you take all the epd from Dan Corbit's FTP (not C.A.P positions) put them all
together with the ones from the chesstest file (the file does have sets that are
already available so don't bother with some) take this huge file remove all the
errors in various epd strings and remove all the doubles you will go from 17,000
to about 8-10K positions.

I did all this work and i can tell you that i have just under 3,000 that were
NOT solved by fritz 6 in under 3minutes on an 800Mhz machine and atleast 200
weren't solved in 30minutes. Good stuff
