I think that all GM's enjoy a good challenge and that includes comp's aswell, they would not be where they are today if they did not have the killer instinct, and as long as comp's pose a threat they will be game. Also the fact that there have been and epic ongiong battle between man and machine for quite a while now just fuels the matches and contributes to making them more watchable. Do you find it boring to play comp's because they are good or do you mean they are boring per difinition? what you discribe above "i rarely am able to get any attacks against the beasts, they seem to have something for every plan i try to start" im am sure you would experience against any GM out there aswell.
