I recently took a call from an Apps person with a similar error message,
although they were using a Siemens Esoft computer with a Nuclear Camera. The
response I got from Microsoft was this :
Some medical software applications need access to two important Microsoft system
files called mfc42.dll and msvcrt.dll. These files are usually placed by the
installation
software in your system directory, e.g. in c:\windows\system or
c:\winnt\system32. Many other Windows programs also use these files, and it's
possible that you could have different
versions of these files on your system to the ones needed by certain
software. The installation software should usually copy the version needed to
your system, if a lower version is currently
there, but sometimes this doesn't work because the DLLs are in use in
another program.
Hope this helps.
