You need a NULL MODEM cable and connected both computers through it. Otherwise you won't be able to use the Auto232... Someone mentioned that it is possible to use the LAN to play 2 computers by running Windows NT or W2K, and use the latest version of Fritz 6 GUI, I don't know how to set up it... I've tried and never succeeded. Perhaps someone can enlighten you about this. Regards, Laurence
