Hello All,This might help You and I might get some answers also.I have been
playing matches between Rebel,Chessbase, and Millennium Programs in the
autoplayer mode.I'm using 2 p/cs with a Null modem cable.WINDOWS 2000
PROFESSIONAL in one and Windows 98 in the other. The versions of programs I am
using are CT 14.0,FRITZ 6 EXE,and SHREDDER 5.I'm having problems with all of the
above mentioned programs completing matches.Even when I elect 1 as the Master
and the other as the Slave They all seem to have a probulem sencing the move of
the other. In other words,at the on set of a new game 1 will move (white) and the
other will move also as white, and this screws up the match. The first game
allways go ok,its when they start the second sometimes ,or another game.I think
that Slater has allready told Me to download the lastest version of
Fritz(because mine still shows auto-232 0.9),and He said this would fix the
autoplayer bug in Fritz. The programs playing against each other do have this
TIMING OUT probulem, when they change up and can't sense the move of the other
when it should have changed color and took black not white again. This problem I
have had with both sets of My p/cs,(I have 4),so its not in the p/cs.Any
comments or suggestions would be appreciated.Send ME what You know and I'll do
the same,We can figure this rascal out yet! Mike
