The opposite

If you organize a tournament with total prizes of 50,000$ for humans
when only players with rating of at least 2400 are allowed to play
then I do not expect that the number of players is going to be significantly
lower only because of the fact that a computer is playing in the tournament.

I also expect almost all of the players to play against the computer because
players who refuse to play against the computer are going to get 0 in the score
and I do not expect a lot of players to do it because they are going to prefer
practical chances for getting at least a draw and not losing because they can
win bigger prize by winning(the computer cannot win prizes but the score against
it can be impotant for the ranking of the humans)

In the dutch championship people refused to play against the computer but it was
a different story because people may be against computers in national tournament
but not against computers in general.
