While playing against the prototype of Metanalysis.ctg, I tried irregular opening moves, sidelines, early and late deviations, fails, random moves, and straight boners but there was no way to blow my computer opponent out of book. Every sharp move following a series of boners, that are meant to exit , leads back to an entrypoint and as a human you get swamped back into the minefield. It sure is no fun playing against an engine if the game is lost before the engine comes into play and that is more than we bargained for, right ? Last year I still could whip Goliath but with this opening bitch I wasn't able to draw Mustang or even Golem. Do you know other mean, sneaky, methods, dirty tricks or cheats to extricate oneself from the opening book ? Pete
