Well, as the the question is mainly *not* for me, I'll try to give less answers. You can check if the upgrade turned out alright by checking the install.log in the directory. It will tell you the date and version of the original tiger(etc.)dll's. Compare them with the dates of the new ones. If they don't match, you know it didn't install properly. Furthermore I have some small files in my directory like: GambitTiger engine - Gambit Tiger 2.0.blk.bkl ChessTiger engine - Chess Tiger 14.0.blk.bkl Are they there? If not, same conclusion. One very stupid suggestion: did you install the update in the same directory? FWIW you could have installed your upgrade somewhere else on your HD? You know, with RT came RC3.0 also (or the other way around) and you may find your installation files in the century directory :)) Another suggestion: did you insult Chess Tiger? If you did, it can be a good idea to apologize and promise you'll never laugh at it again. Maybe then it will install properly. Anyway good luck. J.
