John and interested parties,
I don't know if there is an official release (ever or yet) that addresses
CB-Winboard and Gerbil. But here's a little package I put together while
tinkering with it for myself. All credits to original authors and contributors,
Bruce Moreland, engine; Arturo Ochoa, unofficial? logo; ChessBase, CB-WB
adaptor.

Unzip to engine folder with 'Use folder names', then drag Gerbil.eng from Gerbil
folder into engine folder. You can let me know of troubles if you notice any and
can describe them adequately.
