I do not know about a GM who scores only 1% of the points. You start with suppose a super GM. Can you give me a practical example of a super GM who got performance of 1800 or even only 2000 in the last 20 games that (s)he played? Can you give me a practical example of a GM that scores less than 1 point in the last 20 games(even 1/2 out of 20 is more than the 1% that you suppose)? Uri
