It will depend upon the program.  Keep an eye on the SPEC CINT2000 benchmark,
which includes Crafty as one of the benchmark workloads.  This will give you the
exact results for Crafty.  However, do not confuse the Itanium Processor Family
(IPF--aka processors using IA-64 architecture) with just the initial Itanium
implementation (aka Merced).  The second generation (McKinley) should have much
stronger performance.
