The ssdf never gave it the first place and their result suggest that Shredder5 is number 5 when Deep Fritz,Gambittiger,tiger14 and Fritz6 are better. Deep shredder may be sligthly better than Shredder5 but I guess that not enough to be number 1. I guess that Deep Fritz it the best available program at long time control when Tiger is the best in blitz. I do not know about the new programs and Shredder5.32 or Junior7 are clearly candidates for being best(They are younger than Deep Fritz) but even if they are better than Deep fritz I guess that Fritz7 is going to be again number 1 in the ssdf.
