Yes - a little bit. II. Yes - a very little bit. III. He probably (and I think rightly) assumes that Kasparov was the worst choice among the Super GMs to play the program/machine. In other words, it was more Kasparov losing than DB winning. This could then lead to the conclusion that Fritz is almost as unpleasant. IV. I don't interpret his comments that way. I doubt that he thinks so. V. Yes, I think *that* interpretation is reasonable. After all, what does "GM" mean these days? Top 700, or something like that. VI. I have yet to hear Kramnik (and I thank him for it) say something he obviously knows is false. To repeat: mere conjecture... Charley
