Mark,

Interesting questions.  :)

I have not heard GM Kramnik say anything he did not mean, just my own limited
knowledge.  Also, last year before the Dortmond tournament, Kramnik was very
outspoken.  GM Kramnik stated that he did not consider Junior to be as strong in
tactics as others had proclaimed and that he was not afraid of the program in a
tactical match.  He proved his point later when he defeated Deep Junior while
playing his own style.  I was surprised, I thoought it might just be hype, but
then he backed up his words.  So for me, I just take what he says at face value
until he gives me a reason to doubt him.  :)

I guess I might be nieve.  :)
