I will Translate the essence of this article, not necessarily word by word.

Four years after the match between the Ex Champion Kasparov vs Deep Blue in New
York, the Parallel Supercomputer which was created by a group of american
Scientists working under contract for IBM, now Argentine will be the Host
country for a similar match which will open up a new chapter between the
legendary duel the artificial brain v the natural human brain.

The program Created by Christophe Theron Chess Tiger 14.0, will be playing
using a conventional (Pentium III 866 Mhz), against a group of south American
Grandmasters, among them seven Argentine's players, in the IV Magistral of the
Argentine Republic, Mercorsur Cup 110° anniversary of Florida, which will start
on the 22 of Jun and it will end on the 6 of July, in the Hall of CM Salud,
Domingo F. Sarmiento 1755, in the match of Vicente Lopez.

The upcoming match will apply a new system of notation_similar to the one
used for Futbol (soccer) in which three points will be given for a win, one
point for a draw, and zero for each lost game.

The Argentinian GMs Pablo Ricardi, Oscar Panno, Alejandro Hoffman, Sergio
Slipak, Enrique Scarella, Diego Valerga and Mauricio Dorín together with the
Uruguayo Andrés Rodríguez, the Brazilians, Everaldo Matsuura and Eduardo Limp
plus the Cuban Miguel Andrés will be the human representatives and of course
Chess Tiger 14.0 (3° in the SSDF rating list), will be the playing Software by
Christophe Theron.

Chess Tiger 14.0, a product that is now sold under Chessbase and it was
authorized by its author Christophe Theron (will be operated by Roberto Alvarez,
representing the Argentine Firm. This will be the first time that Chess Tiger
14.0 will face a strong human competition of this Caliber using the new FIDE
time Control. Since in europe only programs like Deep Fritz from German and Deep
Junior from Israel were the only ones to compete against such a strong human
opposition of this caliber. These programs have already gained recognition by
playing chess stars such as: Anand, Shirov, Morozevich, Leko and
Adams, which are the best evidence of how strong these current Programs are
currently playing, to be allowed to play against these players.

The GMs will probably have to use the old trick against the Beast by
accidently turning off the PC whenever they see themselves in a losing position,
but this event will give us a better evaluation of the real strength of the
current PC Chess Software. Are they really playing at GM Strength at normal time
control, we will have the answer soon ?.
