FYI: the completely free positional chess database program CDB,
available for Windows 95/98/NT from http://reality.sgi.com/pmk_craypark,
can handle CBF files (as well as PGN, EPD, NICbase, and Chess Assistant
formats).  It might be worth a look if this program doesn't have
what you need.
