If you setup the CM8K GUI carefully, it practically does *not* slow down other
engines:

1. no pondering of course(on single CPU; I can't talk about SMP issues though)
2. The "Chessmaster" checkbox in the thinking lines must not be checked
3. the "Visual Thinking" window must not be used

Furthermore, it should be checked if - from previous activities - a theking.exe
task hasn't be removed from memory (I believe this happens then and when); in
this case you must kick it out via the task manager before re-starting
everything for a match.

I have carefully tested the influence of a "background" CM8K on the performance
of Chess Tiger, comparing the Chesstiger Marks. Performance loss was only
3,3...3,4 %!
