Marketing.

Fritz is also a very known chessprogram name. I.e. many players have
never heard about Rebel, Tiger or Shredder but they do know Fritz.

The ChessBase guys are German and 'Fritz' is a standard German name,
like for example calling your program 'John'.

So they will try to use the well known brand name 'Fritz' to sell
whenever possible.

Note that Morsch's program is actually called 'Quest' but is being
sold under 'Fritz' solely for marketing reasons.

Stefan will have no problem with this because he knowns that ChessBase
does it to sell more, and hence more money for him.
