I’m very glad I get this question :) The original question was where to find this letter codes, and the answer was in the pgn 'standard.txt'. To let him use it right away I also made a copy of the text. So the answer to your question is 'the pgn standard'. By the way, in all language I have seen nobody use a letter for pawn in notation. I think it’s also in the FIDE’s rules of chess. Maybe you could tell us what a pawn is called in Dutch. oddGM
