I have been putting Tiger through the paces but I figured I would give it an even more exhaustive test strengthwise. I decided to pit Tiger (as Black) against a fairly strong PC program (as White). Considering that I had never won against the text version of Tiger, I blamed it against the lack of a GUI. I haven't exactly played a "real" game with the beta yet but the strength is definitly there. I figured Tiger had no possible way to win due to the difference in speed (giving me a sort of revenge) but was I in for a suprise. Tiger came out of the opening slightly behind CSTal but then things started to change fairly quickly. Tiger had a slight advantage around move 21. As material started to get sparce (around move 35), the speed difference became to great and CSTal had a field day with Tiger. Although Tiger did lose, she performed beyond all possible expectations. I will be the first to congratulate Christophe on his remarkable acheivement.
