No. This is done just to classify a tournament, not a game. G/60 is rapid, G/61 is not. G/30 + 30 seconds/move is also a rapid, whether it lasts 10 moves or 300 moves ( 6 hour game but would still be classified as rapid. A very small chance of that happening though :)) ) All games in the same tournament would be classified as rapid and rated as such as long as they fit before mentioned calculation. Games are assumed to be 60 moves just for this classification.
