I believe that one of the reasons that the 1300 player won the game was the fact that he was really better than 1300. I guess that his performance against humans can give better picture of his real rating. I cannot trust rating at that level. I know that in Israel every player gets 1350 when he starts to play and the lowest rating is 1300. players who play in tournaments are usually not beginners and I believe that most of the players who start to play in tournaments in Israel are better than the 1300 personalities of chessmaster. I do not know exactly what 1300 means but if I use the chessmaster personalities to learn about the meaning of 1300 then I do not believe that 1300 players have a chance against programs. I know that the rating in chessmaster is mainly for blitz and not for serious games but I know that weak players usually do not use a lot of time for their game even if they have time. Uri
