I will be sorry to see Chris go because I think he makes a positive contribution to the club. The reason he's giving for giving up posting is that offense has occured between him and other posters. I suspect that this is part of it - but not 100%. Looking at Chris's profile, I see that he's a counselor. If someone consulted him with, "some friction has occured between myself and other members of a club I belong to", would he advise leaving the club? Maybe. Depends on the circumstances. But there would have to be more to it than the initial statement. My suspicion is that Chris finds (as many of us do at times) that he spends too much time posting - almost a type of internet addict. One way to handle an addiction is to abstain from the habit for a while. Maybe this is what is happening here. Even if Chris is not spending hours per day posting, he may have enough other activities to make any time he spends posting expensive to his schedule.
