I think you're being a bit extreme. Telling someone to lighten up is not kicking
them when they are down. If Chris really left because of some barbs from Sarah,
then she is right: lighten up. If you're going to start announcing the world is
round and stick by it, then you must expect a great deal of resistence from us
clods as we insist it is flat. Also remember that despite the fact the
discussion takes place between people, the argument is the subject, not the
people.
