Could you please state your condition ("...has a queen,
rooks, bishops and knights") more precisely: do
you mean OR or AND? I cannot imagine that the presence
of only a knight should be sufficient to prevent such
king moves, but, on the other hand, your condition seems
to me rather severe if you mean a queen AND two rooks AND
two bishops AND two knights. I mean this seriously, since
I want to take your advice and change my chess engine, but
then I must exactly know what you mean.
