My english is bad (sorry), here my answer in german:
Im ICC-Online-Schach kenne ich mich noch nicht aus. Das sind für mich aber auch
keine normalen Spielbedingungen. Ich würde aber sehr gerne ein "Duell"
gegen einen GM spielen, auf Stufe Blitz 5', 24 Partien und auf Blitz 30', 10
Partien.
Das hat im Januar 2001 auch beinahe geklappt, es sollte im Großraum Stuttgat
stattfinden. Einen Sponsor hatte ich damals bereits dafür, und eine deutsche
Computerzeitschrift bot ebenfalls einen Geldbetrag an (ein GM spielt nicht
wenn er kein Geld dafür bekommt!). Ich nannte der Zeitschrift (so wollten sie es
haben) exaktes Datum und Ort, und war schon darauf eingestellt gewesen zu
spielen. Die Verntwortlichen jener Zeitschrift aber wollten meine Bedingungen
nicht akzeptieren ("das ist zu leicht für mich so", sagten sie). Meine Bedingung
war:
14 Tage vor dem Match sollte ich die original CD samt Buch und Programm haben!
Das Programm kann ja lernen oder ? ;-)
Man hat mit statdessen folgendes angeboten (die eMail habe ich noch, denke ich):
1. Ein anderer Ort (700 Km von mir weg)
2. Die Programmversion darf ich nicht kennen
3. das Eröffnungsbuch würde ebenfalls präpariert werden
4. Einen GM wollte die Zeitschrift selbst stellen
5. Ich dürfe einige Stunden am PC üben, mehr nicht
Ich habe so abgelehnt. Ich wollte "nur" gegen eine käufliche PC-Version samt
Buch spielen. Auch der von mir genannte Ort war Ok., denn es wäre ein
"öffentliches Ereignis" geworden. An dem Ort den ich vorgeschlagen hatte, fand
mämlich ein großes Open statt - eines der größten Opens Deutschlands!
Wer war da zu feige gewesen? Ich bin sicher dass ich im PC-Duell gegen
einen GM (oder IM) gute Chancen gehabt hätte zu gewinnen, denn ich war sehr
gut drauf. Schade dass es nicht geklappt hat.
