I understand your feelings with all the obnoxious posts he has been placing, but
really I agree with Jeroen, in that he is bitter and just makes me a bit sad.
First he started some newsgroup with Sean over at Deja, then when that failed to
draw any attention, he started another forum at his own site with a first barb
about being an Intelligent forum. The forum had a couple of interesting
articles, but most of them (apart from his games against CST) were discussions
on CCC and its moderators. Threads (started by himself) with titles like: "Who
are these CCC moderators?" etc. In other words, a forum to discuss another
forum. Quite pathological. Then he said chess sucked and argued that Shogi was
far more interesting. It's possibly true, but the reasoning and source were
highly suspicious. Later, he sold off his pet project CST, no doubt in a fit of
revolt and protest (he may claim money, but I have my own opinion), but because
he cannot reconcile himself with his pain and feelings of betrayal, he
periodically comes back to try to give some of it back. The saddest part is that
he describes himself (and his colleagues) as lacking "imagination,
understanding, creativity, emotions, at the least". So whenever I see a venemous
post of his, I look at it from this perspective.
