It was on the UK version of Rubber Soul, but not on the US version.
(It's on Rubber Soul universally now.)  As I understand it, a number
of albums were shortened for the US market so that more albums could
be released. "Yesterday"...And Today (the butcher album) had songs
from a number of different albums: "I'm Only Sleeping", "And Your Bird
Can Sing", and "Doctor Robert" were from Revolver (and thus not on the
US version), "Nowhere Man" (and others), from Rubber Soul.
