Thanks for the help, Bob. I normally don't use crafty.rc files. However, when I downloaded the crafty version that plays with ExaChess Lite 1.2, there was a crafty.rc file. I don't know how it could affect the other crafty, but it did. I placed the crafty.rc file in the trash, and now everything works beautifully. Thanks again. Baldo.
