Hi! Yes it is big problems playing against the CB-programs. I guess C3 was going to lose the sixth game, in this case it updates the learner and checks the auto232-system and stops the game. If you play against a program with timer it works and starts the next game after time-out, in example against Shredder it is possible to play long matches, against Chesspartner many games in a row but sometimes a commando throws C3 back in DOS. Against other DOS-programs it works ok. I could play several games in a row against N8 because after about one hour N8 begins the next game, so it is possible in tournament games but speed games with a break of one hour is to time consuming. You also have to check all the results as C3s results usually are not correct. I guess it isn't possible to remove the lines in the program that does the auto232-check because the learner works excellent, in 100 game matches against Shredder5 C3 never lost the same game twice. It always tried another move after leaving the same book-line. I play with a and w8. Continue the match it just takes a bit longer or change to the CP-GUI. Bertil
