I would be afraid to lose even against an 1600 player under these conditions. I do not understand the reason for not using a book to prevent a win that is only homework of remembering a game or some games if the program is not deterministic because of the fact that the human cannot be sure about the operator times. Using the right book means that the player will have to remember some hundreds of games in order to get good chances to winn in this way. Uri
