Hello Dan, TaskInfo is also a good tool that lets users have a look at CPU usage. Need a thin shell? I suggest editing system.ini. Find 'shell=Explorer.exe' and replace with 'shell=taskman.exe' or your other favorite. But taskman is bare bones, not much fun at all... All in all I'm not sure disabling these minor items are worth it, unless they are bothering the user of course. BK
